Soldier:

Athlete:

Q: Do you think it’s wrong to be competitive? Why or why not?
Farmer:
Q: What do you think motivates a farmer to work hard?
Q: Do you think being “results oriented” is a bad thing? When can it become bad?
Q: What are some things that make being a farmer a hard thing?
Q: Is there anything that all three of these jobs have in common? What?
Q: How do you think those things relate to being a Christian?
Challenge: [v. 7] “Reflect on what I’m saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this.”
The Bible is not meant to just be read. It’s meant to be reflected upon. The awesome thing is that when
you “reflect” upon the Bible, God gives you insight into the scriptures!
