Q: How does this Bible describe this guy ~ Naaman? (Great man, highly regarded, etc)

Q: What do you think his personality would have been like?

Bible – He has a weakness (Leprosy)

Kind of like a Superhero!

For most of us ~> (Like Naaman) We all have at least ONE weakness!

Q: What do you think are some weaknesses for some people today?

– Explain (Elisha offers to heal Naaman)

Q: How does Naaman roll up to Elisha’s house?

Q: Do you think that might indicate a little about his personality or his perception of himself?

Q: Do you think he should have thought so highly of himself? ~> Q: Than why did he?

He gets to Elisha’s house…Elisha doesn’t even come out to meet him…

Elisha tells his servant to tell Naaman to go wash himself in the Jordan river 7 times!

Q: How did Naaman feel about that? (Angry) ~> Q: Why?

Q: Do you think a lot of people are like Naaman right here – They have their own ideas of how to do

things – Don’t want to change the way that God says they need to change? Any examples?

Q: What do you think it was that healed Naaman?

Water? ~> Q: Was something in the waters of the Jordan that cured him?

Method? ~> Q: Was it the way he dipped himself in the water?

Obedience? ~> Q: Would he have been healed if he only dipped 3 times? 6 ½ Times?

Q: What was the result of his obedience?

Q: How do you think he felt after he got healed?

Acts 3:19

Q: What does the Bible challenge us to do right here in order to be healed?

Challenge: Make a decision to study the Bible & repent. It’s the only way to be refreshed!
